Stella Adaeze Oduah (PDP)
With thirty-nine bills sponsored in the last three years, Senator Oduah leads the chart of Female Senators in the Ninth National Assembly based on bill volume.
Interestingly, she has four bills ahead of her female counterpart in the House of Representatives, Rep Nkeiruka Onyejeocha (APC, Abia), who leads the chart for lawmakers in that chamber.
She is Deputy Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Appropriation and has remained a member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) after a short stint in All Progressives Congress (APC).
Uche Lilian Ekwunife (PDP)
A representative of Anambra Central Senatorial District in the Ninth National Assembly, Senator Ekwunife has sponsored twenty bills in the last three years.
She chairs the Senate Committee on Science and Technology and is serving a second term in the legislative chamber.
Betty Jocelyn Apiafi (PDP)
The lawmaker representing Rivers West Senatorial District, Senator Apiafi has twelve bills standing in her name. She currently chairs Senate Committee on Women Affairs.

Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (APC)
Senator Aishatu represents Adamawa Central Senatorial District in the Ninth National Assembly and has so far, sponsored eleven bills.
A former member of the House of Representatives, she chairs the Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and also serve as Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation.
She will not be returning to the Ninth Senate, having secured the governorship ticket of her party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the March 11 2023 Adamawa election.
Biodun Christine Olujimi (PDP)
Representing Ekiti South Senatorial District in the Ninth National Assembly, she has sponsored six bills in the last three years.
A former Deputy Governor in Ekiti State, the former Senate Minority Leader chairs the Senate Committee on Aviation.
Oluremi Shade Tinubu (APC)
The lawmaker representing Lagos Central Senatorial District also has six bills to their credit since her election for a third term in 2019.
Senator Tinubu was First Lady of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007 and now chairs the Senate Committee on Communication.

Akon Etim Eyakenyi (PDP)
A representative of Akwa-Ibom South Senatorial District, Senator Eyakenyi, has so far sponsored three bills in the period under review.
A former Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, she is currently the Deputy Governorship Candidate of her party; the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the March 11 2023 Akwa Ibom Election.
Nora Ladi Dadu’ut (APC)
An academic-turned-politician, the lawmaker representing Plateau South Senatorial District in the National Assembly has so far, sponsored two bills
Senator Nora replaced Senator Ignatius Longjan in December 2020 after the latter’s demise in February 2020.
