MIDTERM: Oke Martins is without a bill in 2 years

OrderPaperToday – Oke Martins is one of the eight members of the House of Representatives flying the Enugu State flag in the 9th assembly.

He is also among the four who did not sponsor any bill in the first two years of the four-year tenure.

Mr. Oke Martins represents Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani federal constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He is a medical practitioner, whose concern for people’s welfare moved him to join politics as a way to enhance his chances of extending his influence on policy and implementation for the good of the common man.

He is a ranking member in the green chamber beingan erstwhile member of the Enugu State House of Assembly under the platform of the United Nigerian Congress Party (UNCP) in 1997. He was a Chairman of Enugu State Tourism Board and an appointed Commissioner for Education in Enugu State.

In spite of his experience, record shows that Oke Martins did not sponsor any bill in the first two years of the  9th assembly.
