While it was expected that he would immediately begin to sponsor bills after his inauguration, his record shows that he joined the House no-show bill list at midterm (June 2019-June 2021).

This is despite the fact that at his inauguration, constituents utilized the first letters of his name to make requests on issues affecting many element of people’s lives in his constituency and Nigeria in general.

However, his efforts on the two other key responsibilities of representation and oversight that a lawmaker is also obliged to do may cover up for him, as a solid record of performance in those areas may convince the people of his constituency to regard him as a worthy representative. He may do better in the remaining years and have sponsored bills tied to his name before the end of the 9th assembly.
