OrderPaperToday– Oluyemi Adewale Taiwo is one of the fourteen members in the House of Representatives representing Oyo State.

Mr. Taiwo represents Ibarapa East/Ido federal constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He was a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly and a ranking member at the Parliament as he was first elected in 2007 and then 2019 respectively.

He is a member of Land and Transport Committee, Basic Education Committee, Sports Committee, Water Resources Committee, Poverty Alleviation Committee, ECOWAS Parliament Committee, and the ad-hoc committee on abandoned federal government properties.

Despite being a two term member with experience and exposure to politics and a member of different committees, Mr. Taiwo joined the no-show category of the House at midterm, making him one of three from Oyo State who have no sponsored bill to their credit in the first two years of the four-year tenure.

This performance on bill is however without prejudice to his efforts on the other key responsibilities of representation and oversight that a legislator must execute.
