The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday, February 25, 2023, conducted elections for the National Assembly Elections across the 109 Senatorial Districts, and 360 Federal Constituencies represented in the House of Representatives.

The elections, which were keenly contested by the registered eighteen political parties in the country, saw the candidates of the various parties emerge winners in both elections.

In Ebonyi State however, the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) are the biggest winners from the just concluded elections as they won all the three Senatorial seats, as well as six of the nine House of Representatives seat. Below is a full list of winners of these seats as declared by INEC:

Ebonyi Central: Ken Eze (APC)

Ebonyi South: David Umahi (APC) 

Ebonyi North: Onyekachi Nwebonyi (APC)

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

  1. Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency
    Emmanuel Uguru (APC)
  2. Afikpo North/Afikpo South Federal Constituency
    Second-term lawmaker, Iduma Igariwey of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) wins re-election into the Green Chamber. The legislator is the Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation.
  3. Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency
    Eze Nwachukwu Eze (APC)
  4. Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency

  5. Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency
    First-term lawmaker, Chinedu Ogah of the All Progressives Congress (APC) wins re-election into the Green Chamber. The lawmaker is the Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Poverty Alleviation.
