Ebonyi state recorded 4 bills in the Senate and 19 in the House of Representatives amounting to a total of 23
The first year of the 10th national assembly has recorded a total of 1,650 bills sponsored by lawmakers between June 2023 and May 2024. Of these, the senate has a total of 475 bills while the house of representatives has a total of 1,175 bills in the period under review.
However, according to a data analysis carried out by OrderPaper, Ebonyi state recorded 4 bills in the senate and 19 bills in the house amounting to a total of 23 bills.
Interestingly, all senators in Ebonyi state are newbies including Peter Nwebonyi who is a principal officer in the 10th Senate. Nwebonyi who serves as the deputy whip of the senate, sponsored only 2 bills while Ken Eze and Ani Okorie sponsored 2 and zero bills respectively.

In the House of Representatives, ranking member, Igariwey Enwo and Nwachukwu Eze sponsored 2 bills each while Uguru Emmanuel and Nwabasi Joseph failed to sponsor a single bill.

Reps Chinedu Ogah sponsored 10 bills while Osi Nkemkanma has 5 bills to his name.
