Rep Jimbo petitions Police over wrongful dismissal of officer

Jimbo has urged the police force to reinstate a member of his constituency, Mr Imo Jackson from Atai Otoro, Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State into the force.

Rep. Clement Jimbo (APC, Akwa Ibom) during Tuesday’s plenary petitioned the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on behave of his constituent Mr. Imo Jackson who he said was wrongfully dismissed.

Rep Jimbo in his advocacy sought for reinstatement of Jackson who hails from Atai Otoro, Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

Rep Jimbo, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, stated that “Mr Jackson, a police inspector was wrongfully relieved of his duties by the Nigeria Police Force without due process.” 

He however appealed for his reinstatement and payment of his salary arrears for all the years that he was dismissed from service

Jimbo, after the presentation of the petition on the floor of the House, laid the same for the next line of action by the House in which the matter was referred to the House Committee on Police Affairs.

    Honorable Clement Jimbo is doing well, excellently on his constineucy, representating his people, taking out time to put things straight, what can I say, only God will reward him immensely, on his heartfelt, kindness, fairness and very sincere.
