Hon. Jimbo is a native of Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
He is serving as a first-term member representing Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency in the 10th House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC); with constituency office at Ediene, Abak Local Government Area.
Hon. Jimbo is a bachelor of science degree holder in Quantity Survey from the prestigious university of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and certified as a Chartered Surveyor by the Royal Institute of Quantity Surveyors and Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
His selfless service and advocacy for youth and women development in various capacities has earned him meritorious awards, such as the '''Award of Excellence" from the African Youth Community International to mention a few.
He aspired for the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Social Democratic Party (SDP), which was pivotal to the formation of Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) in 2019.
