Ambassador Chad Blackman was recently appointed Senator and Minister in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Investment of the Barbados Government.

The International School of Conflict Management and Diplomatic Studies (ISCMDS) has congratulated Ambassador Chad Blackman on his appointment as Senator and Minister in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Investment of the Barbados Government.

A statement by the ISCMDS signed by Julius Atanawhemera, Esq. founder and president, said Amb. Blackman’s appointment is well-deserved and a testament to his sterling qualities as a consummate diplomat with extensive networks and expansive experience in global trade, diplomacy, and bureaucratic management.

The statement said the appointment has undoubtedly “created unlimited opportunities for economic growth between Barbados and her Global Trade Partners (GTP),” adding that the diplomat is “symbolically the square peg in an economic development hole given his track record.”

The ISCMDS expressed its best wishes for a successful and rewarding tenure in office that “will not only benefit the Barbados Government but also positively impact diplomatic relations in the arena of global trade and economic development.”
