Hon. Ajibola represents Osun Central in the senate under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). A first-term lawmaker, Basiru chairs the Committees on Media and Public Affairs. He had previously served as Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Osun State (2010 - 2014) and later as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice (2017 -2018). The legislator was born on 1st July 1972.
