Hon. Alkali represents Gombe North in the senate under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). First elected in 2011, the lawmaker is serving his third term in the Senate. He previously served as Special Assistant to the Governor of Gombe State (2003 to 2007) and later, as Special Adviser to the Governor of Gombe State (2007 - 2008). Alkali was also Commissioner of Information (2008 - 2009). He was born on 12th February 1969.
