Hon. Akiba Bassey Ekpenyong was born on Febraury 13th 1970, in Cross River State. Hon. Akiba is a first-term Member of the House of Representatives in the 10th National Assembly, representing the Calabar Municipal /Odukpani Federal Constituency of CrossRiver State on the platform of the Labour Paty (LP).
Hon. Akiba has served in diverse positions to include Chairman, Odukpani Local Government in 2004 before joining mainstream politics.
