Hon. Dickson Dominic Tyolumun Tarkighir was born on April 12th, 1969 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Tarkighir Ubur Agada. He is a returning member representing Guma/Makurdi Federal Constituency Benue State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He has served his constituency previously in both 8th and 9th Assembly under the platformform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Tarkighir is a professional Marketing Consultant, and was the Senior Special Adviser on Industry to the Governor Benue State (2009 -2014) under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), before resigning his position to run for a seat in the house in 2015.
Hon. Tarkighir is currently the Chairman, House Committee on Constituency Outreach in the 10th Assembly and has served is several commities in the past to include; Appropriation, Defense, Population, Petroleum Downstream, ECOWAS Parliament etc.
