Sen. Amos is currently representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the 10th Assembly as a first-term senator under the Platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He was sworned into the senate as a replacement for Senator Elisha Addo who lost the seat to a landmark judgement of the Appeal Court tribunal in October, 2003.
Senator Yohanna is a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Theology. He proceeded further to attain a masters degree from the prestigious university of Jos in 2002.
