Sen. Osita is serving his first term as a Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial District in the 10th Assembly. This is following his election under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
Before joining mainstream politics, Senator Ngwu worked at Baywood Continental Limited, where he was involved in high-level and multi-volume EPCSS Technical and Commercial coordination in the oil and Gas industry from 2007 to 2010.
From 2010 to 2016, Senator Ngwu served as the contract manager and later project manager with ZB Joint Ventures before contesting for the senatorial seat in 2022.
