Barau urged Nigerians to pray for the nation and offer President Tinubu their unwavering support as he resets Nigeria.
The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Jibrin Barau (APC, Kano North), has called President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a visionary leader and urged everyone to back him in his efforts to address the issues facing the nation.
To commemorate President Tinubu‘s 72nd birthday, Barau made this statement on Thursday, March 28, 2024, through his Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir.

He said, “I join all Nigerians and other admirers around the world in rejoicing with a Great Visionary Leader of Our Time, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his 72nd birthday, on March 29, 2024.
“Your Excellency, you are, indeed, an exemplary embodiment of our democratic ideals, having been among the foremost in the vanguard of the struggle for the attainment and entrenchment of democracy in our dear country.
“No doubt, your democratic temperament and sagacity are greatly facilitating the achievement of the Renewed Hope Agenda – in synergy with the National Assembly – restoring hope and taking our dear nation out of the security and economic challenges besetting it.”
