Senator Aliyu Ikra Bilbis (PDP, Zamfara Central) noted that during the screening, both nominees met the relevant criteria for appointment.
The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Rimini Haraya Makama as Executive Commissioner Stakeholders Management and Abraham Oshadami as Executive Commissioner Technical Services in the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
The confirmation of both nominees followed the consideration and approval of the report by the Committee on Communications during Tuesday’s plenary.

Presenting the report, the chairman of the Committee, Senator Aliyu Ikra Bilbis (PDP, Zamfara Central) noted that during the screening, both nominees met the relevant criteria for appointment. He therefore recommended that their nominations be approved.
The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio thereafter put the approval of the nominees to a voice vote and the ayes had it.
