RETRACTION AND APOLOGY
OrderPaper Nigeria wishes to acknowledge our error in the report titled, ‘DSS takes over NASS amid impeachment speculations’ published on our website on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Having reviewed preliminary findings, we regret that the information presented in the story was a misrepresentation of facts. We hereby withdraw the said publication and offer our sincere apologies to the President of the Senate and the National Assembly as an institution. We also apologise to the Department of State Services (DSS) and our esteemed audience. In response, we have initiated a comprehensive review of our systems and processes to ensure that this kind of lapse does not occur again. In the interim, however, disciplinary actions, including suspension, have been taken against members of staff found culpable.
