Jimoh Ibrahim claims he was not opportuned to vote and will approach the court to delist APC from participating in the November gubernatorial election in Ondo State.
Controversial ex-while businessman and senator, Jimoh Ibrahim (APC, Ondo South) has condemned the primary election conducted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday, 20th April, 2024 and described it as a mega fraud.
Senator Ibrahim, who came fourth in the election, made this claim while speaking to journalists at the National Assembly on Tuesday, claiming that there was no election as he could not vote for himself as materials were not made available.
In the interest of internal party democracy, he claimed that the largest electoral fraud in Nigeria was the manipulation of the primary election by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State.

According to him, reports he received on election day showed that polling did not take place in 159 out of 203 wards and 15 out of 18 local government councils in the state. The senator stressed that the electoral fraud was well-documented ward by ward and local government by local government.
Sen. Ibrahim said he spurned attempts to induce him to commit illegality as “my house is not a designated polling unit or centre for the election, I turned down the offer of the electoral officers.”
He announced plans to take legal action against the “massive fraud disguised as a primary election conducted by the APC’s National Working Committee (NWC),” which was headed by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State.
“Two clear prayers are being sought for in the court as far as mega fraud called Ondo APC Gubernatorial Primary Election is concerned.
“The two prayers are (i), that the sham carried out on Saturday, April 20th 2024, should be cancelled for a fresh one to be conducted and (ii), for delisting of APC from Ballot in the November 2024 Gubernatorial Election in Ondo State,” he said.
