The Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, who presided over Wednesday’s plenary at the Senate, announced the recess.
Similarly, the Speaker of the House, Rep Tajudeen Abass, announced the recess at the end of Wednesday’s plenary session following a motion for adjournment moved by the Chief Whip of the House, Rep. Bello Kumo (APC, Gombe) and seconded by the Deputy Minority Leader, Rep. Aliyu Madaki (NNPP, Kano).
