Ekiti State, in the south-wast of Nigeria, has a total of nine members in the national assembly, comprising of three senators and six representatives in the House
Ekiti, a state in the south-western part of Nigeria, was carved out from Ondo State in 1996 and has Ado-Ekiti as the capital. Nicknamed as ‘land of honour and integrity,’ Ekiti is one of the smallest states of Nigeria. Ekiti comprises of sixteen (16) Local Government Areas. It is currently governed by Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who emerged as the eleventh governor of the state in 2023.
