He slumped and died on Wednesday shortly after he observed Eid-al-Fitr prayer in Abuja.
A former member of the House of Representatives who represented Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala Federal Constituency in Kogi State, Rep. Mohammed Idris, has been confirmed dead.
The deceased was the son of a former Governor of Kogi State, Ibrahim Idris.

Reports have it that he slumped and died shortly after observing Eid prayer at his residence in Abuja on Wednesday.
However, the family has not yet made an official comment regarding the development.
His burial will take place in Abuja’s Gudu Cemetery under Islamic customs.
