OrderPaper Advocacy Initiative seeks a dedicated and passionate Programme Executive to join our team and lead the coordination/implementation of some projects and activities in Abuja.

Who You Are

• You have effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to command respect and to create a sense of community among stakeholders and the members of the project teams.
• You have a good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects with the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
• You are dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring that every piece of activity under your watch is top-notch.

What you will be doing

• Operations – Manage the delivery of projects, activities and initiatives
• Strategy, Planning and Reporting – Co-create the development of our annual projects and operational plans. Ensuring performance metrics are developed, tracked, and reported
• Stakeholder Relationship – Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders including media, CSOs, and government
• Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
• Initiate extra activities and other interventions wherever gaps are identified or issues arise
• Reporting progress at regular intervals to the Head of Programmes
• Collaborate with relevant teams on resource mobilisation

• Successfully delivering projects and activities on time
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to implement activities, seize new opportunities and address challenges
• Remaining unflappable and driven to deliver success in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Exhibiting a great attitude and ownership mentality with a convivial nature

Your skills set include

• 3+ years of previous work experience, ideally in the developmental services sector
• Demonstrated abilities in the management and leadership of multidisciplinary projects and teams
• Excellent organisational, time-management and project-management skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, and technology devices
• Excellent people management skills, including the ability to motivate, evaluate, correct, develop, and increase staff performance
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks to maximise short-term impact
• Exceptional communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-starter
