Muhammad Adamu Oyanki recently etched his name in Nigerian political history following the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as winner of the March 18 election for Doma North Constituency in Nasarawa.
A young politician by all standards, Oyanki is placed in good stead to emerge as one of the youngest legislators in the country come June when he takes his oath of office as Member representing Doma North Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

- Oyanki is arguably the youngest legislator in the country.
- The young new lawmaker is one of three Under-30 candidates to have emerged as legislators in the 2023 – 2027 electoral cycle.
LEGISLATIVE AGENDA
- Oyanki intends to initiate bills on the right of youths to education, basic healthcare services and other incentives that enhance their standard of living.
- The Member-Elect is looking to promote youth inclusiveness in governance as well as women and youth empowerment.
- He also looks forward to proposing a bill to set up a ranch and grazing area for herders that will be effective in checking the menace.
