ACEs mourn as OrderPaper rues demise of Community member, Ikeuba

During his time with the ACEs, Mr. Ikeuba’s contributions were invaluable, and his positive influence will be deeply missed. He was a role model to fellow members, embodying the spirit of active citizenship and service to the community.

 

 

The leadership of the Active Citizens Engaging the Legislature (ACE), a Legislative Accountability and Constituency Engagement programme of OrderPaper Nigeria, has expressed sadness at the passing of one of its members, Christopher Ikeuba.

In a statement notifying its members drawn from across the Three Hundred and Sixty (360) Federal Constituencies of the country, the group described the deceased as an integral part of the ACEs community from Zaria Federal Constituency in Kaduna North Senatorial District, who took the Leg’ACE Programme so close to his heart.

Extending their thoughts and condolences go out to the family, friends, and loved ones of Mr Ikeuba in these difficult times; the ACEs expressed solace in the fact that his dedication to the shared mission will continue to inspire members of the group in the work towards building better communities and a stronger nation through legislative engagement.

“We received the unfortunate news of Mr. Ikeuba’s passing with profound sadness. His unwavering commitment to civic engagement, legislative advocacy, and community development made him a cherished member of our ACE family. He was not only a colleague but also a dear friend to many of us.

During his time with the ACEs, Mr. Ikeuba’s contributions were invaluable, and his positive influence will be deeply missed. He was a role model to fellow members, embodying the spirit of active citizenship and service to the community.

As we mourn the loss of our dear friend and colleague, let us also remember the indelible mark he has left on our ACE community,” the statement read in part.

Similarly, in a condolence message to the National Caucus. of the Active Citizens Engaging the Legislature (ACES) dated 18th September 2023, the Management of OrderPaper Nigeria noted that it received the news of Christopher Ikeuba’s passing with heavy hearts.

The statement signed by Temidayo Taiwo-Sidiq, Senior Programme Executive at OrderPaper, rued the passing of the legislative accountability champion while praying for God’s comfort for all.

“We received with heavy hearts the tragic news of the demise of Christopher Ikeuba, an Active Citizen Engaging the Legislature (ACE) from Zaria Federal Constituency, Kaduna State, last Friday.

As an organisation that understands the importance of active citizens in nation-building, Mr Ikeuba’s death has come with both shock and a huge loss considering his contributions as an ACE and the much he was willing to do for the development of our dear country, Nigeria.

At this very trying time, the entire Management and Staff of OrderPaper Nigeria commiserates with his immediate family and the ACEs community. We pray for God’s comfort for you all,” it read.
