OrderPaperToday- Staff members under the aegis of Amalgamated Union Of Public Corporation Civil Service Technical and Recreation Service Employees have urged the National Assembly to wade into issues bedevilling the corporation.
Chairman of the Union, Ibrahim Abdul stated this on Tuesday during a peaceful protest at the the entrance of the National Assembly complex.
According to Abdul, non adherence to government and finance regulation, lack of commitment to staff welfare as well as mal-administrations of the day to day activities are inherent issues affecting the corporation.
In a collaborative effort, the union chapters in Lagos, Kano, Enugu and Port-court has requested that the Federal Government to look into the wrongs triggered by the management’s failure to address critical issues on a collective agreement entered with them.
Joining in the protest are staff members of National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), who condemned the spate of corruption, nepotism and bad management in the Commission.
