OrderPaperToday – The Senate, on Tuesday, received two Executive bills transmitted by President Muhammadu Buhari for consideration.

Accordingly, President Muhammadu Buhari in the letters said transmission of the Executive bills were pursuant to Section 58 (2) of the 1999 Constitution as amended.

The bills are: ‘The National Senior Secondary School Education Commission Bill, 2021 and the Federal University of Health Sciences Otukpo Benue State Bill 2021.

While the National Senior Secondary School Education Commission Bill 2021, seeks to enforce standards and provide federal government intervention toward the repositioning of senior secondary education in Nigeria, the other bill seeks the establishment of a Federal University of Health Sciences in Otukpo, Benue State.

He hoped that the submissions will receive the usual expeditious consideration of the Senate.
