OrderPaperToday – The House of Representatives has urged its Committees on Healthcare services and Health institutions to collaborate with relevant agencies of government to tackle Lassa fever outbreak in the country.

The resolution arose from a motion raised by Mr. Chike Okafor (APC, Imo) under matters of public importance at Wednesday’s plenary session.

Okafor expressed worries over the spread of the disease in some states in the country and called on the National Agency for Diseases Control to put in more efforts to stop the spread of the epidemic.
