HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SCORECARD

Osun

 

Oluwole Busayo Oke
Considered one of the influential and longest-serving lawmakers from Osun State in the legislative chamber, he represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency.

Rep. Oke, who equally chairs the highly-important House Committee on Public Accounts is head and shoulders above most of his colleagues from the State, having sponsored 30 bills in the period under review (2019 -2022). Among these bills is a piece of legislation seeking to establish the Federal College of Agriculture, Ijebu Ijesha (Oriade), which has been laid before parliament.

Bamidele Salam
A member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the lawmaker representing Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency has so far sponsored 11 bills since 2019.

Taiwo Olukemi Oluga
The only female federal lawmaker in Osun State, she represents Ayedade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency and has 10 Bills to her name thus far.

Olufemi Fakeye
Chairman of the House Committee on Commerce and Industry, he represents Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency in the legislative chamber, where he has so far sponsored eight bills in the period under review.

 

Afolabi Rasheed Olalekan
Representing Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency has to his credit, sponsored six bills in the life of the current House of Representatives.

Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni
A representative of Atakumosa East/Atakumosa West/Ilesa East/Ilesa West Federal Constituency in the 9th House of Representatives, the All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker, has so far sponsored four bills.

 

Oyewo Olubukola Oyegbile
Like Rep. Ayeni, the Irepodun/Orolu/Olorunda/Osogbo Representative also has four bills in his name in the period under review.

 

Ajilesoro Abimbola Taofeek
A member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the lawmaker representing Ife Central/Ife North/Ife South/Ife East has three bills to his credit since 2019.

Amobi Yunusa Akintola
Representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, the lawmaker has sponsored two bills over the last three years.

SENATOR’S SCORECARD

 

Osun

 

Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru

The lawmaker representing Osun Central Senatorial district blaze the trail for Senators from the State with 13 bills already in the bag. Bills sponsored by the Senate Spokesperson include a piece of legislation aimed at establishing the National Road Maintenance Fund, which has passed first reading.

 

Oriolowo Adelere Adeyemi
A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the lawmaker who represents Osun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly has so far sponsored seven bills, including a bill to establish the Federal College of Education (Technical) Iwo, Osun State.

 

Fadahunsi Francis Adenigba
The lone People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator from the State has five bills in his name, including a bill to establish the Federal Orthopedic Hospital Obokun, Osun State
