Development Dialogue Series
As part of efforts to deepen advocacy around reforms in the oil and gas sector, OrderPaper convened a series of Development Dialogues (DD) to engage stakeholders on the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB), which was eventually enacted into law in 2021.
The first of the series was held in September 2018 at Eko Hotel in Lagos to focus the attention of presidential aspirants on the Petroleum Industry and Governance Bill (PIGB) before the National Assembly and seek their perspectives on broad-range reforms of the sector.
Another DDS on petroleum sector reforms was convened in April 2019 in collaboration with the Nigeria Natural Resource Charter (NNRC). The event which also held in Lagos drew participation from industry experts, civil society actors, the media and members of the National Assembly.
