OrderPaperToday – President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday decried the death of seven female students in a fire incident that gutted their hostel at the Government Girls Secondary School, Jogana, Kano State.

Saraki, while wishing other students that sustained injuries during the unfortunate incident a quick recovery, called on the Kano State Government and relevant security agencies to unravel the cause of the incident so as to prevent future occurrence.

The Senate President in a condolence message to the Kano State Government, families of the victims and the school management, said he was saddened at the news of the inferno that wrought havoc on the school’s girls’ hostel even at a time when the State is just recovering from an unfortunate attack by Boko Haram terrorists a few weeks ago.
