As familiar foes square up again at the Osun Governorship Election scheduled for Saturday, July 16, 2022; bookmakers have tagged it a two-horse race.

Although, there are indications that it may not be so easy a battle for the major parties.

In our spotlight this week, we profile a frontrunner in the race to unseat Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He is a Senator in the 8th National Assembly, two-time Governorship candidate and flagbearer of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP); 62-Year-old Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke.

• Adeleke was accused and charged to the Osogbo High Court for alleged forgery of his Secondary School Testimonial and WAEC result.

• Adeleke was criticised for boasting during a campaign that he has enough money both in naira and foreign currencies to buy voters during the Osun gubernatorial elections.
