Enyinnaya Abaribe
A representative of Abia South Senatorial District, the immediate past Senate Minority Leader ranks lowest among senators from the state in bill sponsorship.  So far, he has sponsored just two bills in three years.
One of his bills seeks to establish the Armed Forces Service Commission. It was, however, stepped down during consideration on the floor of the Red Chamber after a stormy session that forced the lawmakers into a closed door.

Having faced stiff opposition from the power brokers in the party, he backed out from the race and defected to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
