Kabiru Idris is the lawmaker representing Kura/Madobi/Garun Mallam Federal Constituency of Kano State at the House of Representatives.

The legislator who is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) currently serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Civil Societies and Development Partners, as well as member of the Ad-Hoc Committee on Arms Purchase.

First elected in 2019, the record shows that Mr. Kabiru Idris is among the group of representatives who were yet to sponsor any bill at Mid-term (June 2019 – June 2021).

Having sponsored zero bills in two years, it can be said that he has given his constituents reasons to doubt his capacity as a legislator.

It is hoped that he would do better in the remaining years of the 9th National Assembly.
