OrderPaperToday – Like their Yobe counterparts, the three Gombe senators have returned zero record on motions and petitions in the first half of the 9th Assembly.
Interestingly, both Yobe and Gombe State belong to the Northeast geopolitical zone.
Sen. Amos Bulus Kilawangs (APC, Gombe South), who was appointed deputy chairman of committee on Niger Delta, has neither motion nor petition to his credit at midterm.
Similarly, Sen. Danjuma Goje Mohammed (APC, Gombe Central ), chairman senate committee on marine transport and one of the the ex-governor in the senate, has no motion and no petition to his credit.
Goje is the former Governor of of Gombe State between May 2003 – May 2011.
Likewise Sen. Saidu Ahmed Alkali (APC, Gombe North) shares same record as the two others.
Accordingly, the three senators from Gombe did not make any contribution to to the cumulative record of the motions and petitions sponsored in Senate during the period under review.
Meanwhile, just like petitions and motions, the senators maintained parallel records in bill sponsorship during the period under review.
