OrderPaperToday – Sen. Ekwunife Uche (PDP, Anambra-Central) has maintained the lead among the Senate team from Anambra State with 7 petitions to her credit while maintaining parallel performance with Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah (YPP, Anambra-South) on motions- each sponsoring four.

Together, the Senate team from the state has respectively contributed 5.6% and 2.1% respectively to the total motions and petitions sponsored in the first half of the 9th Senate.

The two female senators have demonstrated capacity in bills sponsorship and led Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah, the only male senator.  Also, the duo emerged first and second among their female counterparts in the Senate in terms of bills sponsored.
