OrderPaperToday– Jerry Alagbaso is one of the ten members of the House of Representatives that are flying the flag of Imo State. He is representing Orlu/Oru East/Orsu federal constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

AlagbasoAlagbaso is a ranking Member of Parliament and previously served in the House of Representatives Committee of Media and Public Affairs, Education (Basic and Secondary), Diaspora Matters, Customs and Excise, Commerce, and Banking & Currency between 2011 to 2015. At the end of his first term in 2011, he contested and was reelected in 2015 and served as Chairman of the Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA). He is currently the Chairman, Public Petitions Committee.

Before his election into the legislature, Alagbaso was a senior officer of the Nigeria Customs Service and had served as the Area Controller at the Calabar Seaport and Calabar Free Trade Zone, and Tin Can Island Port, Lagos.

However, despite being a three-term member, record shows that he has no bill to his credit in the first two years of the 9th assembly.
