OrderpaperToday– Senators from Jigawa State  have contributed only 1 motion in the first half of the 9th Senate.

The single motion was sponsored by Sen. Danladi Abdullahi Sankara (APC, Jigawa North-West). His motion was on  “the menace of street begging and need to rehabilitate street beggars.”

He urged the Federal Government to formulate a policy that would integrate ‘almajiri’ beggars into the educational system thereby discouraging them from being used for street begging.

Of no doubt, his motion justified and alluded to the plight of Abuja residents on the hike in the activities of miscreants who are daily unleashing mayhem on law abiding citizens and residents of FCT.
