BACKGROUND

  • About 14 lawmakers [Under 40] were elected to the 9th House of Representatives in 2019; constituting 3.61% of the total number of lawmakers (360) in the chamber.

TOP 10 NEWBIES IN BILLS SPONSORSHIP

  • Rep. Mansur Manu Soro is the only lawmaker [Under 40] in this category out of about 14 lawmakers elected to the House of Representatives in 2019.
  • The Bauchi lawmaker has sponsored a total of 12 Bills in the period under review.
