OrderPaperToday– Ayuba Badamasi is one of the twenty-four representatives that are flying the Kano State flag in the House of Representatives but he joins the group of fifteen from the states’s squad who sponsored zero bill in the first two years of the 9th assembly.
He is representing Dambatta/Makoda federal constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the House of Reps. He is the Deputy Chairman of House Services Committee.
He is a ranking member of parliament, having been elected into the lower chambers of the National Assembly in 2007 for the first time.
Mr. Badamasi targets to raise the standard of living and enhance the lives of ordinary people while still maintaining peace and stability in the country, but sponsored no bill to champion that cause.
Despite being a fourth-term member with a wide range of political interests and experience, he did not sponsor any bill in the first two years of the 9th Assembly, despite the fact that it is well acknowledged that lawmaking is a legislator’s primary task.
However, given that he is presently serving his fourth term in parliament, he may have a strong track record in the areas of representation and oversight, which are also both important duties of a legislator.
Before the end of the 9th assembly, he may perform better and have sponsored bills to his credit.
