The tribunal panel determined that Rep. Bagos’ nomination by his party, the PDP, was not valid.

The National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal sitting in Jos, Plateau State, has sacked a two-term member of the House of Representatives, Rep. Dachung Bagos.

Bagos, who represents Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency and chairs the House Committee on Science and Technology, was elected to the federal parliament on the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25 elections.
