OrderPaperToday – The caucus of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Senate on Thursday, lost its Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, to the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).
Representing Taraba South Senatorial District, Senator Bwacha defected to the APC and was welcomed into the party by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mai Mala Buni, Yobe Governor and Chairman of the APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) led the lawmaker to the State House, Abuja on Thursday.
What you should know about Senator Bwacha:
Senator Emmanuel Bwacha was first elected to the Senate as lawmaker representing Taraba South Senatorial District in the 2011 general elections on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Re-elected under the same party in the 2015 and 2019 general elections, he was announced as Deputy Minority Leader in July 2019, before his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
